| Job Essentials: |
|
- System administration of
UNIX/Linux including direct
RedHat and Sun Solaris administration
experience, system installation
and configuration, volume
management, PAM authentication
is added advantage.
- Backup/recovery of data
and full systems.
- Supporting core services
including NIS, NTP, NFS, CIFS,
SMTP/Sendmail/Postfix, DNS/BIND,
LDAP, Kerberos, HTTP/Apache/Stronghold,
SSL, SNMP, SUDO, Syslog, FTP,
etc.
- Application administration
including Apache, CVS, Bugzilla
etc. added advantage JSP,
PHP, Tomcat,
- TCP/IP configuration including
NIC teaming, and ethereal/tcpdump
diagnosis. Firewall, router
and other layer 2/3-device
administration is definite
advantage not a must.

| Qualification:
|
|
- RHCE or Sun Certified professionals.
- Very good communication
skills.
- 2 + years of hands
on experience handling servers
, back-ups
- Willing to work on shifts.
- Ability to track and report
work activities accurately
and meet deadlines.
